Remembering the Whole Self w/ Nacera Mekki



In this fast-paced world, we are asked to keep up with the speed of the times. In order to do this we need to be anchored in a strong sense of self. In this workshop we will use asana, meditation, journaling, and partner work to shed light on some of the limiting beliefs that keep us held in patterns that are not useful.

By recognizing our belief system we are able to peel away layers of misunderstandings of how we treat ourselves and others. We will deconstruct some of these patterns and learn techniques to help release the power they hold over us.

Nacera has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching for 9 years. She has completed 500 Hours of Vinyasa training with Les Leventhal and Stephanie Snyder, and 200 Hours of Kundalini with Gurmukh. Nacera is highly committed to translating yoga into an accessible and relevant practice both on and off the mat. Her class provides challenging sequences to allow students to explore their boundaries and to find their potential to overcome difficulties. Her classes provide an enriching and meaningful experience for students at any level. She encourages students to look within to find their own wisdom and strength to guide them through their practice.
