Join our dear friends and teachers, Nat Kendall and Peter Walters, for a sweet and sweaty deep-dive into the heart opening practice of Bhakti, the yoga of love and devotion. In this workshop we will explore myth, mantra, pranayama and asana. We will bring to life the stories and mantras of the deities to whom we often chant in class (Shiva who?). We'll learn how these ancient living stories can support our practice and inform our daily lives off of the mat. We'll discuss why we chant and the many benefits of regular mantra practice. This workshop will include a strong vinyasa and pranayama practice led by Peter and live music performed by Nat. We'll conclude with kirtan/chanting and any questions you may have— so bring em!.
Are you ready? This workshop is perfect for both new and seasoned practitioners looking to deepen their practice, as well as teachers looking to bring more bhakti and chanting into their offerings. You'll leave with a heart cracked open and tools to incorporate into your daily sadhana.
*Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, vocal cords ready to sing, and zero expectations! OM
